
Packaging
Fish are
graded and then frozen into
blocks of ice, a conveyor system
delivers the blocks into the
packing room where they are first
sealed in polybags and then
packed in cartons (dimensions 533
x 533 x 104mm). They are then
strapped twice before being
stored in one of two completely
palletised on board cold stores.
The average block weight is
approx. 22 kgs and pallets hold
52 blocks each.
